"Trouble is with Crackdown, it is kinda easy. The story can be mainly done in 7 hours, depending on your skills, and after the ending, you can only jump around like a madman without a purpose."
Not really true anymore. With new updates, you can resurrect gangs now. Great update because yes, having nothing to do but time trials put me off the game for a long time.
Agreed. That is exactly right, darth.
If anything, it's becoming more common. And I don't mind so long as the games turn out to be enjoyable like inFamous and Crackdown both were.
It really is hypocritical to only think of the Halo series as milking.
This is nothing irregular. What often happens with a popular series like this is we get one or two titles continuing the main series and a few spin-offs or prequels. It's the same thing happening with MGS. We got:
1)MGS4
2)Online
3)Peace Walker
4)Touch
5)Rising
And I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt for AC!D and Portable Ops even though they were tec...
I find it intriguing that the traditional F-word got no mention whatsoever. I guess the other is more offensive these days?
On topic, you should probably represent your company better than calling out insults in random tweets. The internet is NOT private. Although this is Double Helix, devs I have little love for so far.
I have a hard time giving this the benefit of the doubt.
This is the first video I've seen of it. Looks better than I expected and by that I mean it looks like they've toned down the weird combat from the first game. That was one of the major things I disliked about MC. Consider me cautiously optimistic for now...
"Probably"?
By the same token, don't we already have enough grizzled, stubbly, bald shooter protagonists?
Granted, I don't have a problem with the character redesign. But so far it really feels like they're just changing for the sake of change, to differentiate their version of Max Payne from Remedy's.
Me too. Xenosaga isn't my favourite JRPG, it's Xenogears. Jeez I need to stop staying up so late.
I really don't know how to feel about this yet.
The visual quality of blu-ray movies is like w/e. A movie is a movie imo no matter how 'crisp'. If the script sucks it's still a lemon. I know that's a minority opinion.
Personally, I am impressed by new functionality, not prettier pictures. And what impresses me most about blu-ray movies is the interconnectivity (BD-live). There are rich possibilities there.
Argh, I meant Agent, not the Agency. Damn similar names.
I really don't see this conspiratorial bias people seem to latch on to. Agent is a new IP, yes from R* and it's exclusive. It's not like they said GTA V is coming out and it's exclusive. That would have rivalled a Halo/MGS announcement. Tretton also announced FFXIV, a title from a major series, and that got way more attention from the press even before we knew it was also for PC. The media did not just gloss over it becaus...
Well, the devs actually kept hyping Alan Wake before any media was ever released (or at least we got more articles highlighting that). Despite many trying to flag it as vaporware, Remedy ALWAYS released new info about it. Just not screens or video until recently.
R* have been pretty quiet about Agent, I think. I don't think they've really built on the hype of the initial announcement yet.
"The reason why both of those trailers were talked about after E3 was because of the game they represented, not the actual gameplay shown."
I don't know how this isn't obvious: Both Halo and MGS are already wildly popular franchises. Hype can subsist on the brand name alone. How is the Agency, an unknown new IP comparable to those two titles?
Ah, I see. Thanks.
So what if you're ambidextrous like myself? Am I twice as good? =D
Yeah...probably not. =/
Yeah, is this a release date for the PC version or for all three platforms? Article is only tagged PC so I wonder.
Games you've never heard of aren't automatically lousy. Tropico isn't the best of the best imo, but it certainly isn't a lousy series of games.
A better question: is there still a viable market for PC city-builders/sims on consoles? I don't see it tbh.
But if there is, they could do FAR worse than Tropico.
That would be acknowledging a factory defect to begin with, which they won't do if it's at all avoidable. So we have to play this stupid coy little game with them.
"Jasper is our most reliable model yet!" *wink wink*
Like we don't know they mean they're trying to eliminate RROD. It's just corporate BS. They don't want to get sued again, but they're still trying to keep customers by working the problem.
What about it? I don't have any insider information. Maybe they leaked it purposefully, maybe they didn't. Flip a coin and you'll know as much as I do about that.
I'm going off Team Ico's reputation which is only two games strong. But two games that are at the very least visually spectacular and often acknowledged as such both critically and popularly.
As I said before, I would not be surprised at all if the trailer was prettied up for presentation to thousands watc...
Yes, but that could very well be because Halo is the more popular franchise of the two.
